Music Store!

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

This is great! You can download songs on the fly without leaving Kjams. [but there was a problem] ... I open up kJams then click on the little triangle next to "Music Store". Then i click on TriceraSoft. [But now] none of the song info shows up [like it did the first time]. They are just blank lines under song name, Artist, Price etc... All i see is the "Buy Song" button. Hope this makes sense. The first time i opened it, i could see everything in kJams.
Thank you

update to latest version
quit kjams
click the link above.

look for the paragraph starting with "If your store ever disappears for some reason"

that should do the trick.

Yup, that did the trick. Thank you! This is awesome. Will you add sites like "Karaoke Downloads.com" in the future? can you download songs while playing songs? I guess i can try it and find out myself.

Very nice feature.
As the heading is called music stores does that mean the other online karaoke stores can be added to the list in the future

Dave, you continue to completely blow me away with the features you keep adding to an already fantastic product!

I went to the music store, found a song to purchase, setup oneclick settings, clicked buy now and boom, song was downloaded, extracted, added to the library and automatically played!!!

This is outstanding! Is there a way to turn off the auto play feature?

Get the Secret Prefs panel, and you'll see "Auto-Play when you add single song to Library", you can turn that off.

downloaded secret prefs, but it keeps crashing after install. Oh well. Just have to keep in mind that it will automatically play the song. No big deal really.

Thanks

Secret Prefs requires 10.5

you can manually edit your prefs file, the file is in:

/Users/<you>/Library/Preferences/kJams/kJams Preferences.plist

just open it in a text editor

look for that pref name, set the next line to false instead of true (or wahtever)

Strange. I deleted the xml file and restart kjams. The tricerasoft database reappears in kjams but if i close kjams and restart it, the database dissapears again.
