I'm new to all this but I wonder if anyone has or used a LightScribe Lacie Drive. I am using A 24inch iMac and the drive on this will rip and burn CD+G discs, and those I burn will also play back on this machine. I have a VocoPro karaoke machine but these discs that I burn play the audio only. Friend Dave recommended a LightSribe drive but the 1-2 day delivery is now 5 days and 7 when Monday gets here. If anyone does use a Lacie LightScribe I would be very interested to hear there comments. I must say how extremely helpful and lightening quick with all the queries I have made to him to get up and running. The software is superb. I have registerd copies of Lite and the Burner and the prices are fantastic it's almost free for what you get and the amazing after sales care. Thanks to Dave I'm thoroughly enjoying my Macs again.

I actually have that drive (LaCie lightscribe model), but haven't tried burning...I've been busy enough ripping that I just haven't worried about it. I will grab the burning plugin when I get home later this week and give it a shot. It's something I've been meaning to do just so that I can carry one or two discs to other shows that have all my favorites instead of dozens. I hate the hassle of looking stuff up in other people's books when I already own what I want to sing.
