Midi Karaoke

Post by singwas »

For actual german songs i have to use midi.kar Files, because there are no cdg or mpg.

1. How can i make them sound better? I found something like:
Roland VSC-MP1 General MIDI/GS-Software-Synthesizer.
Is this asolution? Or are there other ways?
When i import them to Garageband, i can use better sounding instruments, but i miss the text.

2. How can i cut off the Lead-Voice directly in Kjams?

midi karaoke sounds really bad even with the best synthesizers.

yes garage band has sampled instruments which actually sound good, because they're sampled from real instruments, not synthesized.

you could fix up the audio in garage band and re-export to MP3, then paste the video track (Text track) back in using QuickTime player.

i'm quite sure you can find real CDG karaoke in german

Yeah, I've got "Rock Me Amadeus," and "99 Luftballons." You could start there.
