Can anyone help with this problem?

It is not a problem, it is by design.
There are only 300 x 216 pixels originally in any CD+G frame, you can't "invent" more pixels than previously exist. If you show this on a high def TV, you're scaling up the pixels, you're going to see the edges.
What I *can* do is bicubic smoothing:
On the left is what you see now, on the right is with smoothing. But is that really much better?
