Converting MCG to CDG

Post by dawgs18 »

Hello.

I have an external hard drive with MCGs and MP3 and I want to convert to CDGs and MP3 on that hard drive. Is this possible?

Thank you

kJams will play them but it's not designed to convert them.

Yea I was able to play them but I was hoping to convert them to then save on the hard drive.

So when I play the MCG file it would then save it into my folder on my internal hard drive which then takes up a lot of space if you have 15k songs?

Is there a resolution?

right but why bother converting them if kJams can play them directly?

no, it doesn't. it *will* cache the song, temporarily, but the cache is emptied in "least recently used" order, so play a few more songs and the older cached songs will disappear from the cache

Do I need to upgrade though for the lyrics to display on an external monitor?

Thank you for helping me!

no, tryout limitations are posted here.

Just turn off "mirroring" (or turn ON "extended desktop")
