Crash when updating

I've done all the updates for the 18 months I've had Kjams Lite.
This morning I crashed trying to download the new update.
I tried again, same crash.
I restarted, no luck.
The old version seems to be working, after I Click off the crash report box.

I really wish everyone would read the first paragraph on the downloads page (after the warning):

to wit:

If the automagical updater that is built into kJams fails for some reason (or you're crashing on startup), just go download the latest version (see below on this page) and install it manually
