Online stores date added

Happy day kJammers,

Not sure if this is a function of kJams or not, but I think it would be helpful to show a DATE ADDED in the store song listings. The option is available for the column view, but nothing populates that field in either store.

For me, this would be helpful to add current songs easily. Maybe it could be done once per month like the karaoke distributors develop discs?

Just a fleeting thought.

I emailed Tricerasoft and here was the response:


Date is already available in the database and provided from our website to the store - the latest addition was the day since we get them so often. Contact David for assitance with the store list.

yes for Tricera, enable the "DateAdded" field if you don't already see it.

Thanks Dave...enabled that column, but all the fields just have "----" in it.

"Date Added" has results when LIBRARY is displayed, but no content when either store listing is displayed.

In case my original request was clear as mud...I was thinking that TriceraSoft and Karaoke Locker could put the date THEY added each particular track to their library, so that I could use that column to sort and find new releases.

make sure you have the latest music store. right click on Tricera and go "reload"

and yes, that's the point, sort by "date added" and you'll see the newest releases
