Re: Error changing name
Yup, you're right (not surprisingly). However, if you have a track in *Songs Not Renamed that has no Album data, and that for whatever reason IS renamable, double click to play it, and very quickly hit cmd I to bring up the edit dialogue BEFORE the track is automatically removed from the *Songs Not ...

Re: Error changing name
If you have L-T-R-S ("standard, to the extent there is one, would actually be "L-T - R - S", spaces included) and do not specify a track # you WILL get a renaming error.

Re: Error changing name
Actually, depending on the actual error message, I suspect that the problem is that whatever you are naming it to does not conform to the Song Name Template you have set in Preferences>Tags> Conform Song Names: For instance, if you have this set to "L-T - R - S" (aLbum-Track# - aRtist - Song name) a...

Pinning down the server bug.
Sent you a crash report.
After launching the WTKJams app, clicking on a singer name appears to SOMETIMES crash kJams.
I suspect it MIGHT be when the first singer using the app attempts to connect.
Afterwards, FTMP, things then run fine.
This is a longstanding bug.

Re: Turn off target mode
It would be nice if it were preference-selectable to change double click between target mode, dropping the disclosure triangle, and editing the name.

Re: Output to AirPort
As I understand it:
1) Airport Express NOT available to select from with kJams as sound output device.
2) When setting kJams to system default, and system default to Airport Express in System Prefs, kJams still does not play through Airport Express.

Re: Output to AirPort
Dave: any thoughts on why his original kJams configuration to send sound to Airport wasn't working?

Re: Output to AirPort
You need to set system output on the Mac to SoundFlower (2ch). This routes audio to SoundFlower, that then routes it back to your multi output device.
That said, I am having a hard time testing, so I can't yet verify.

Re: Output to AirPort
The sound control not working is a known issue with multi-outp[it devices. I hesitate to call this a bug because it has been the case for years, and at this point Apple must know about it, and have a reason to leave it this way (though no one seems to know what that reason could be). The solution is...

Both those units are sufficient. If you want a better mic, you might consider Craigslist.

titlebar-less window
Would it be possible to have a preference to allow for a video window without a title/grab bar?
This would be useful for use with Chromecast, where running a window full-size has significant advantages over fullscreen mode.

Re: Output to AirPort
Dave,
I think he is saying he has the audio I kJams set to his multi device audio.
Also, IIRC, posting attachments is broken here.

Re: Output to AirPort
So you're saying it works with system audio just fine, just not with kJams?
So if kJams is running, multidevice audio is not working but if you switch to another app, it still is?
Also, I see no screen shots.

AirPlay/ChromeCast
Any chance of revisiting the addition of AirPlay/ChromeCast support to the video Window?
Or even simulcast?
I know AirParrot 2 can do it, but doing so directly would be… nifty.

Re: The aforementioned revenue idea
Oooh, idea! I think is easy given how kJams works. Just add a URL metadata field (that would of course get stored in a given track's XML sidecar file, and the capability for kJams to task another app (set in defaults) to open that URL. Done. I know adding another field is easy enough. And I suspect ...
