I've been using AIFF (primarily cuz my final output is iPod vids -and I prefer to work with as much data as possible, when something's going thru multiple conversions) so I guess that's the best I can do for now.

I figured PassThrough would automatically handle this but the item is grey-out.

How do I delete a song from a Playlist (but not from the library).
Have tried:
selecting the song, hitting delete - nothing happens, and
looking for a command in the menus and contextual menus..

Thought this would be a no brainer: exported to QT, MPEG-4, H.264. but iPod balked... Had to re-export all to iPod using Quicktime!
