Deleting playlists?

I have kjams configured to create a playlist of newly imported songs to make it easy to manage what was imported and when. I am through with these playlists and would like to clean them up but I don't see anyway to remove them. I assume simply deleting them from the Kjams Library/Playlists directory would not be a good thing. Or is it?

sometimes the answer is hiding in plane sight:

select the playlist, press the delete / backspace key on the keyboard.

and yes, you could quit kJams, then find said playlist in the file system and delete it, then run kJams.
