If you upgraded from a lesser edition to a greater edition, but then when you go to run kJams, you are still running the older edition, just follow these steps:

# uninstall the old kJams (this will NOT remove your songs, library, playlists, preferences, or other kJams data)
## on mac, just go to the Applications folder, and drag kJams to the trash
## on windows, run "add or remove programs", search for "kJams", and click "uninstall"
# download the proper edition of kJams [https://karaoke.kjams.com/product_downloads/ from the downloads page]
# [https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Installing install kJams] like you normally would
# run kJams
