Artist names. HELP needed urgently

Hi I have had a huge mishap and changed all of my artists names on all 5500 songs to one name. can anyone tell me how i can change this? Please help. I'm not sure wether to laugh or cry at the minute!

you should restore from a backup, there is no undo.

I try to make it very hard to do this, by forcing you thru the "are you really sure about this" dialog, and warning you that there is no undo.

If you have them separated by album, you can use the online db to automatically reset the metadata.

Also, if the song files are ones that you RIPPED using kJams, and you set the meta data before you ripped, then the artist name is within the folder name, which is still there. You can Reinterpret to recover all the artist names.
