karaoke file

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

i am not entirely sure what you're saying.

are you asking about the "kJams Music" folder that kJams creates? or are you talking about your own folder that you already had, that you "added to library"? in the former case, kJams will add any music you rip from disc or buy from a built in music store. in both cases kjams will change the file names of the songs if you change the names inside kjams. kjams presently does NOT keep the "kJams Music" folder organized (ie: it does not move songs to different folders if you change the artist or album)

yes, kjams will unzip the file, update the ID3 tags of the zip file, re-zip the file, and rename the zip file to conform to the new name.
