We have a catalog of karaoke songs here in my office and recently someone sent us back a few CDs with some oddly timed songs. Lyrics were either too fast or too slow. I wasn't the one to originally make this CDs however long ago they were made, but I know we used kJams to do it. After a bit of tinkering I figured out how to adjust lyric speed with the songs. The only problem is that I can't for the life of me figure out how to burn a playlist to a CD with the speed changes! It's just the same off-time lyrics problem as before and it's really frustrating!
There's got to be a simple reason why they won't save or a simple solution. I need to get these done as soon as I can and I don't want to have to learn how to do any technical or heavy editing.
kjams does NOT burn tempo shifting, so you can't, say, speed up the song (so it is shorter).
it probably should but it doesn't.
also: kjams does not burn sync-slipping, which is i think what you're actually talking about?
it definitely should, but i don't think it does right now.
Hm, that's unfortunate. The sync-slipping was what I was talking, yes. We've had a client patiently waiting over the Holiday breaks and I need to find a program to get the lyrics to match the song's speed. I guess I'll have to find another program or just be screwed! Thanks.
