Can't Make software play karaoke songs

Post by karaokefan »

Hi,

I am evaluating the software and I have finally uploaded all my music and two things are happening...

1 - I have more than 15,000 songs via mp3 and the software is telling me that I need to upgrade ram.

2 - I can play a regular mp3 file, however the karaoke files will not play..

So, is the first problem related to the second? I read in the documentation that I may need more ram, which is not a problem, however I am puzzled by NOT being able to play the karaoke files. Do I need a plug in? I thought I read that somewhere but I am not sure. I do not need the burning plug in.

Thanks! So far the software looks awesome.

i don't think "upload" means what you think it means. You either did "add to library" or "rip". "upload" means to push a file across the network.

the software is telling me that I need to upgrade ram
then you need more RAM. any modern computer should have 4 GB or more of ram.
the karaoke files will not play
what "karaoke" files? what is the file format?
is the first problem related to the second?
i don't exactly know what the second problem is, but i can tell you the answer to this question is unequivocally "no". Low RAM means searches will be slow, that's about it. It will still work just fine.
