Pitch Changing

I'm using a file database on an external HD where each song is a folder containing a .mp3 and a .cdg file. Everything seems to play fine in kjams until I try to change the pitch. Then the music cuts out and seems slightly garbled. Is there any way to fix this?

??? i have never heard of this. a recording of this would be nice

try using the Apple Audio Unit for pitch bending
