Hi Dave or other KJammers,
I am attempting to put a karaoke system together as a Christmas present to the family and as a Mac User it looks like kJams is what i need to use. I was planning to buy the kJams Pro or Lite, then somehow acquire say 50 favourites songs (do i just download these from the Stores?), I am hoping that the laptop (Mac Book Pro) screen will display the lyrics and the sound will go from either a USB or from the headphones socket to a PA system which has a mixer to mix the music with the microphone and output to speakers. Am I missing anything and will the above work? Do I need the Pro version or will kJams Lite do for now? Where is the best place to acquire the music?
Thank you in advance for any help/advice

You seem to have all you need. Use the built-in music stores. Yes, output from headphone jack to your mixer

Kjams Lite is fine for home use but you need pro to run public shows. Pro has the rotation and many, many other features. I have the same setup as you (Pro version) for my home and it works better than any component or computer karaoke players i have ever seen. Enjoy
