Dave, could you give me the step by step instructions for playing MPG's? I downloaded the file from VCD and MPEG tools, dragged the relevant file into applications, but still, not luck. Thanks Dave!!!

Better yet, how soon till Kjams plays MPG's, VCD's and DVD's??

Here is how I do it and it works well for me.

1- Move mpg file to location that will be permanant, I created a folder for just videos.

2- Using "add to library function" (under file menu), choose the mpg file and bring it into Kjams.

3- Sort your library by #, it should be the most recently added file.

4-Click on it and it should play

5-I have created a playlist named "Video's" and drag all the video files to it, makes them easy to find.

to play MPEG1 files you need ffmpeg

note: you don't put it in your application folder, you dig into it's bundle and drag out "ffmpeg" and put that in the kJams app support folder.

to play MPEG2 files, you need ffmpeg (above) and the $20 mpeg2 component from apple.
