I finally got someone to try kJams cue. Except she found "No visible venues available".
I pulled out my iPhone and ran kJames Cue. (It also runs on my M1 iMac). It found my venue. My Mac, and both of our iPhones were on the same network,
I saw I could add a venue if I knew Venue name, kJams server name, and Port. I looked at kJam's preferences and found my port and my http address.
How do I connect her to my kJams (64) session?

Re: Connecting kJams Cue
My wife doesn't have kJams Cue on her iPhone either, so I tried experimenting.
After verifying that we were on the same Wi-Fi network, I tried adding a new venue, guessing on how to fill out the Host/Server name.
My iMac says in Settings/General/Sharing/Local Host Mode = Howard-Brazees-M1-iMac.local
So I tried various ways of typing that in:
http://howard-brazees-m1-imac.local/main
http://192.168.0.12 (that's what kJams shows)
http://howard-brazees-m1-imac.local
Finally,
howard-brazees-m1-imac.local
Worked.
Actually, I should have tried adding it a second time on my devices.

In searching, I noticed the QR code, and tried using it, and it says "You need wtkJams to log in!).
But that's not available, so I guess I won't show the QR code to users!

Re: Connecting kJams Cue
if phone is on same WIFI As the computer running kJams, especially if another phone works, then it should "just work". i can't explain it not working
oops! gotta fix that QR code!

Re: Connecting kJams Cue
Found out my real problem.
I live in Senior apartments with a supplied Wi-Fi. Even though the shared Wi-Fi has the same name for everybody, each apartment has devices that only connect to each other. (So we don't connect to someone else's stuff). So her device didn't see mine.
