Which Karaoke.Net version

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

Which Karaoke.Net version

Post by HowardBrazee »

When I want to buy a song from Karaoke.net directly from kJams, there are two versions of each song. I infer that one version may be .mp4, and the other version may be mp3+g, as those are versions I see from their page. I realize that there is very little to choose between, them - but I think most people have a preference. Is there a way to know which version is which?

Look under "Album Name" and you may see they are from different manufacturers, or look under "Artist Name" and you may see they may be renditions from different artists. There ARE a few that are HD, which i think may be MP4, they have "HD" in the "Genre" and "Manufacturer" to distinguish them.

I'm not finding any differences visible from within kJams.

please take a screen shot showing name, album, artist, genre, & manufacturer, where everything is identical, and i'll have a look myself.

Indeed that is strange.

if you right click the "Karaoke.net" playlist and pick "reload store", does it get fixed?

That didn't change anything that I could tell. It gets loaded periodically anyway.

I got messages saying it was working, as I did yesterday. But today I got another error after doing that test, which I will e-mail to you.
