Kjams Pro / Kjams2 Crashes when user connects to server

Kjams Pro / Kjams2 Crashes when user connects to server using Bonjour browser.

1) I start Kjams pro on imac
2) I open safari on another pc and connect to kjams server using bonjour bookmark.
3) Main login page comes up and says "Please Wait" at this point the Kjams program shuts down unexpectedly.

any help appreciated.

send the crash report, then come back here and reply to this, saying you sent the report, and what email you sent it from

I tried on both imac computers resulting in same error.
It's very odd because the server was working perfect for many months of using Kjams Pro.

okay i see the crash report, interesting!
now i need to see the crash. do this:

1) run kjams
2) go Help->Reveal Preferences
3) quit kJams
4) the folder that was revealed, zip that whole folder (it's called "kJams")
5) rename the archive "prefs.zip"
6) drag it into a new email to me
7) go to /Users/<you>/Music/kJams/...
zip the folder called "kJams Library"
9) drag that into the same email
10) send me the email!

i'll be able to see the crash myself, in the debugger, and fix it permanently!

through my experimenting I found it boiled down to running the KJams / KJams2 on Lion OS X 10.7 Causing the server crashes. But I recalled you mentioning Windows Kjams, so what I did was Installed Windows 10 using Bootcamp followed by installing the windows version of KJams 2 and wah La... Everything is running perfect on my iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 machine and also on the 1.83 GHz machine both running 2GB Memory using A: and S: in searching to speed up results.

Both Safari and Firefox Browsers connect to server and work perfect.

I also noticed that iPad 2's go pretty cheap on ebay and kijiji and along with 5.00 for the Kiosk program, This is a best approach to Digital songbooks.

I can not believe the interaction at the tables when people pass around their iphones using wktjams. It's awesome and singers love it.

i'm able to run the server on 10.7 just fine, so there must be something strange going on in your system

i look forward to getting your log files. let's do this over email, then i'll come back and post here when we have the solution
