The real question is: will Mavericks will be ready, or will it be as bad as Lion and Mountain Lion at release.

A gray man?
The only thing i'm concerned about is multiple monitor mode. I'll have to install Mavericks on real hardware to test that, as putting it into a VM doesn't enable testing on multiple monitors.

Since I unmark "Displays have separate Spaces" in Mission Control, Kjams has a perfect performance. If the background video is MPEG, then QT has much better performance than ML.

Are you saying you've tried kJams on Mavericks with multiple displays? and it works to drag the video window to a 2nd display? do tell!!
