Is there a way to put a carriage return (or line feed, or whatever combination it should be) into the text given to the Screen Message template? Obviously, when making normal templates, you can easily do this by simply putting the text on to separate lines, and the CR/LF is picked up by whatever parser is doing the job, instead of simply regarding it as whitespace. Not sure if it would work, but using escape characters like /r or /n could work? or trying to copy/paste a return from text, which would be ASCII 0x0a?
Just curious - would make the creation of Screen Messages on the fly be a little more exact than current - e.g. the following:
Thurs:
Ladies Night!
3 Free Drinks!
would look correct, instead of the following:
Thurs: Ladies
Night! 3 Free
Drinks!
Which is how it would currently displayed.
Just FYI, I tried using the above possible methods, and none worked. Copy/Paste didn't preserve the newline, and escaped characters didn't get escaped - but heck, it was worth a shot.
