Fading Out

In Producer can you do fade outs? There are some long breaks in the song and I wanted to have it fade out between those breaks. I see a button that says Fade but it seems what it does is just fade the audio and video.

i don't know where you got the idea that the fade button had to do with audio.

basically you set your in and out points of the fade with the orange brackets, then press fade, and it fades to black.
