Copy KTP+audio files to second computer, Always have to run Producer

Post by clempav »

Edit: Figured it out

We keep 2 laptops for running kJams, 1 for regular use, 1 for a backup (you know, spills and all, have already had to replace one :o )

So can I or how do I avoid running Producer on each copied over song?

Copied 10 of the ktp+audio files dropping them onto kJams library window (the one on the right), always check 'copy into the kJams music folder' not reference.
But then I will have to go to each song and run Producer or otherwise I get the converting media stream each time the song is played.

Am I missing a file from Computer 1 I need to bring and drop?

Thanks!

run producer once, then command-S. this will save the CD+G version of the song back to sit next to the original source files. THEN you can move the sources to another computer.
