Auto full screen not working

I didn't put this in bug request because I suspect I have something set odd, and it worked before.

I have an iMac and a 2nd monitor. I have kJams on my iMac, and the Karaoke window on the 2nd monitor. I used to have my Samsung monitor in portrait mode as that's where I display iTunes (and it fits my desk better), but decided to keep it landscape mode to match the TV screen when I take everything downstairs on Karaoke night. But the Karaoke window no longer opens full screen. I click on the green button to make it full screen (with the top Mac bar showing). I unchecked and checked "Auto Full Screen".

Is there something else I need to do?

in kJams, to go full screen, double click INSIDE the window, or hit command-zero

Is the menu bar supposed to be visible with full screen Karaoke menu? It is for me.
