KJams 2 password

Post by Bigjoe31 »

I just purchased KJams 2 for my MacBook Pro n installed It, everything works great except that I keep getting 'KJams 2 wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this.' I understand getting this when you are downloading, exporting or importing music but this username and password message is becoming annoying its poping up every 5 minutes and it becomes embarrassing when it pops up during a song. Does anyone know how to disable that password message?

Please HELP!! I tried everything with no luck.

kjams asks for your PW only to get permission to auto update, and also for running a server on port 80

click "always allow" and it won't ask again

Dave, where do I click on always allow? It's only asking for my password? Do I go into advanced setting?

edit your preferences file
look for the lines:

Code: Select all

<key>Date of last authorization rules change</key>
<date> (whatever your date was) </date>
<key>Date of last authorization tools change</key>
<date> (whatever your date was) </date>
delete them, save, run
kjams should ask for each privilege ONE more time (there are two) then stop asking
let me know!
