No sound here but on WMP

I'm sure this answer is already here, and I apologize. I just spent 30 minutes looking and cannot find it. If you can either answer or link me up, I would be so grateful.

On some selections I do not have any sound. The video works fine. The sound works fine on Windows Media Player.

I really like this program and am considering purchasing it. I just need to work out a couple of little kinks before making my final decision. I am using Siglos right now on my MacBook Pro through Elements but it will not play the 85,000 KMA files I just purchased so I need to find a new program. Siglos will not play the sound either on the same files. So I'm thinking it is an issue that would be comparable with both programs.

I am using 2.0d15 on a fairly new MacBook Pro (purchased in August 2013) version 10.9, 749.3 Gb capacity, 653.82 available
