I've successfully moved over my ~12-year-old karaoke library from the various Windows applications I used to kJams Pro on two Macs. I have one iMac for library management, one MacBook for portable use. My MacBook is a few years old. Everything runs perfectly, but the OS can only be upgraded to Lion. The iMac is running Mountain Lion.
I have successfully cloned my setup using symlinks, and everything appears to be working well. I can sync the changes in my music and library files either direction and the app still works beautifully.
Are there any known conflicts between cloned systems running different OS versions?

should be good as long as you stay in sync, sounds like you know what you're doing
