Question about Custom Backgrounds

Post by SupermanNJ »

I've changed my "rotation background" in both my default and venue settings, but the rotation background is still the same default. Is anyone else having this issue??

I am also having problems changing the rotation background. I've followed these instructions

https://karaoke.kjams.com/wiki/Rotation ... ShowScreen

I'm able to change the custom_picture but the rotation_background doesn't seem to have any effect - renamed or replaced. I notice that default image has the KJams logo and just the work "KJams" whereas the rotation screen that is displayed has "KJams Pro Karaoke" words after the logo. Is this image stored somewhere else?
I've also tried adding my PNG image to a venue and still no effect. :D

run kjams, go help->reveal prefs
quit kjams
in the prefs folder revealed, trash the folder called "Producer Templates". note: if you've created any of your own, be sure to save them out first, then restore them after you run
now run
should be good to go

Dave, I tried your suggestion but it didn't have any effect. I'll email you a couple of screenshot.
