preset playlist/missing songs

question is if a song or part of a song is missing, why does it still play correctly ? some of the songs in the preset playlist do play and others do not.

under preset playlist missing songs. the playlist that kjams creates has songs that do not play and songs that do. if a song is missing why does it play?

i think there's probably a bug in the "missing" determination.

after looking at them carefully i did have some cdg's thatwould not play but the majority of the songs are kma's.

correct. listed as missing. as far as i can tell they all play. have not found one yet that does not. checked to see how many kma files are in the main library and it is the same number listed as missing. good luck dave. great program.

ah, ok. simple bug then. i think "missing" is checking to see if the audio file is missing. but KMA is actually treated internally as a video file (with embedded audio), so kJams thinks it's missing. i'll fix that, thanks for the report!

This is happening to me as well. I have a decently large amount of kma files and I just got done uploading everything to a new external hard drive. Now for some reason, 70% of all my kma files, won't play. I get that same "the kma files are missing" error and sometimes they play fine and sometimes they don't. I am very interested in purchasing pro, but this is a huge thing if I can't play lost of my karaoke files. Help!?

The bug reported here is that a song marked as missing actually plays fine.

tl;dr: you can't change the name of the hard drive or the folder structure
