video quality

Post by djdave »

Two questions.
1. I can't figure out how to turn off the tool bar that appears on the monitor screen.
2. The lyric images are also very hard to read even on my small13" low def monitor. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
It looks even worse when I plug into a large screen Hi Def, but I guess that's the low quality of the video graphics on the discs.
As always, thanks for the help.

what is a "Tool Bar" ?
do you mean window title bar?
what do you mean "monitor screen" ? do you mean "Video Window"?

to make the video window full screen, command zero or double click in the window

I guess I mean the dock...finder,mail,safari,iphoto, all of those icons. As for the video quality, I changed cables and made some adjustments on the VGA converter, and everything looks great :D

the dock hides automatically when you go to full screen. what are you doing, other than full screen, that you need to hide the dock?

for reference: cmd-opt-D, or right click on the dock separator (between apps and documents) and pick "turn hiding on"

When I go to full screen, command 0, the dock still appears on my video monitors, the ones that the public sees.

umm, are you going full screen on the video monitor? or on YOUR monitor (which is obviously not what you want) ?

When I hit command 0, it doesn't seem to affect my video monitor, but it does fill the public screens, with my dock at the bottom.
