external drive ?

I'm trying to burn from Kjams onto a CD-R. I am going to file/burn playlist. Only the audio plays back, i have no video. This is the second Drive i have purchased and i suspect i'm doing something wrong. I can play a CD+G from the drive, i can even add to library but i am unable to burn the songs back onto a CD-R.

we discovered that his drive is capable of reading but not writing CDG discs.
