Strange error when playing back .mpg files

Feel free to post bug reports here. I need exact, detailed steps showing me how I can re-create the bug on my machine, so give as much info and detail as possible.

Strange error when playing back .mpg files

Post by huckdunsany »

Hi everyone! I'm frantically trying to get ready for my wedding on Friday, and using kJams is going to be essential. However, I'm running into one (major!) problem - a lot of the karaoke tracks I have are actually mpeg/quicktime videos (not unlike those that kJams can export). Unfortunately, when I try to play these files, I get this error message:

"Can't move this media type to a background thread."

This is doubly-strange to me, since these files play just fine in Quicktime Player.

Any ideas? I'm getting down to the wire here...

Thanks,

Huxley

PS I'm doing this on my 12" PowerBook 867mHz, 1.25Gb RAM, Mac OS X 10.4.7, and the latest kJams.

Please send me a file you're trying to use so that I can test it here.
