37 seconds to play

Post by Karanight »

Help
Last night I played tracks and they played almost instant. This morning each track takes about 37 seconds of spinning ball before the track plays.
I've tried shutting everything down and re-starting and I've even used another HD but I'm still getting the same problem
When I play itunes that plays almost instant and both kJams and iTunes play from the same HD.

be very very sure you've got the latest version of kJams. I am willing to bet you somehow are running an older version.

The version I'm running is 1.0d50r47 or at least when I click About kJams thats the version it says and when I click Check update I get the message No new version available, but when the new version is released tonight I'll update it and let you know what happens. You may be right though because it does feel like I'm in a time warp continuum at the moment.

I've sorted it
I was working on kjams and I put about 7000 tracks into a Tonight playlist to help me organise stuff. I meant to delete the tracks in the tonight playlist and forgot. I've since deleted the 7000 tracks and kJams is now playing fine again
