Microphone Delay

Hi Dave, when you added the Microphone capability and level control slider to kjams you said there would be lots of delay and there was/is. Are you working on an update to address the issue of delay? I hoped that when I upgraded to a new macbook pro 3.06 and 7200 rpm drive running 10.6.2 and 4 gigs memory that the delay might be lessened but it hasn't; any thoughts?

yes i know, it's on my list to fix, i definitely will be fixing this.

meanwhile, use AudioHijack or LineIn or GarageBand

I think I may be doing something similar. Have been using macvide audio recorder with a plantronics usb headset and microphone combination. Can make a good recording with both clean background and blended voice to the hard drive but can't force my mind to be in sync because of the lag in your ears. Will try your suggestion! Thanks for the update!
