wont burn, error message: DRStatusStateFailed

Feel free to post bug reports here. I need exact, detailed steps showing me how I can re-create the bug on my machine, so give as much info and detail as possible.

wont burn, error message: DRStatusStateFailed

Id like to purchase the full version of KJams, but only if I can burn playlists. I get DRStatusStateFailed error message. What does this mean? Can I get around it?

Yes, your drive is likely not compatible. Check the Drive Compatibility page.

Note: to my knowlege, there are NO notebooks with compatible drives.

Seems it the drive. Its a NEC firewire external, reads ok for importing in KJams but wont burn. Used the drive in a mates PC and backed up the discs i needed.

Shame KJams couldnt do it as I always like to support mac programs and I find KJams a great little program otherwise. Good luck in your development.

So are you saying the same drive failed writing on a mac but succeeded in writing on a PC?

yes. its an NEC 3520AW firewire drive. Backed up the karaoke discs just fine using a program called disc jugglerer. Its not in the suported list you have so was not too surprised it didnt work.

did you verify that the backup discs burned with DiscJuggler will play *with graphics* on real karaoke hardware?

Yeah they work fine. Played them in my local bar and on my daughters machine.

I realize this is like 6 years old now, but if you could re-confirm this bug is fixed that would be swell.
