As of version r10, "Add to Library..." is not working now when you try to add mp3/cdg files to the library from an external folder outside the kJams music folder. kJams gives an error that it can't add to the library music that is already in the kJams music folder (even though it is outside the music folder).
Had to revert back to r8 to be able to add to the library.
