Webserver Links Safari issues

Has anyone had issues with the webserver links not working once logged in? I know, everyone should be using WTKJams but the people that come out to sing are cheap!!! Seriously cheap! I have the kiosk software but don’t trust them fools with my iPad Pro.

Once logged into the webserver on iOS phone or iPad, the menu links don’t work. Unable to see Tonight, Favorites etc. Anyone see this before?

I’ve searched the forum and can’t find anything that relates.

Any help would be appreciated!

the kJams Server doesn't serve pages compatible with iOS, sorry. You MUST use wtkJams on iOS. To use the web pages, you must use a regular computer with a mouse.

Thanks for the reply! Would a “recent” android tablet serve the pages correctly? It did work from a friends Galaxy phone. I’d be willing to hand out a cheap tablet.

no, the web pages only work on real computers, not tablets.

if you're handing out (a) cheap android tablet(s), use wtkJams.

Interesting. I *have* tested webserver on IOS and didn't know why the one person who tried it failed.

It is because he tried it on his iPhone, and I tried it on my iPad.

i'm surprised to hear that it works at all, it was never meant to work on iOS. I guess YMMV.

If you are willing to get cheap Android tablets, why not get cheap, older laptops, and just use the web server?

I tried that and it worked flawlessly. Then my cheap fire tablet was dropped and well... that was half the cost of the gig!

I’d much rather someone drop their phone than mine. Karaoke is a fun way for me to entertain people and I don’t charge a lot. So I try and keep the expenses down.

I may get a kids tablet with rubber bumpers later. Or something like that.
