Stuck sorting new song list

Twice, my kJams Pro has been "Stuck sorting new song list". The first time was on Karaoke night, and I rebooted my Mac. Now it happened again, but it's just me in my room. This time I waited 15 minutes before first trying to quit and then force quitting. Both times, I was able to run kJams without problem after.

I'm guessing I should say no to updating the Music Stores library on Karaoke night. I only use them if someone wants to buy a song.

Is there something I can gather so that after kJams gets updated for Mojave, this can be looked at? (It's not that critical that I want to distract more important work).
