Error Loading/Saving Database when loading Library

Hi Dave,

I am importing a large number of files(19,000+) from folders that are deeply nested. Most of them conform to the LTAS name format so I accept it as the default for all of the folders (which I multi-selected for import). The import routine seems to spin though all of the files ok, then I see on the tasks pane that it is saving the database and "sorting" by a column, it throws up a series of 10+ dialog boxes with the CD/microphone logo but NO error message - the box is empty. I have to hit Enter many times until these go away. Just, now, kjams dumped...

umm, this is not really a forum for crash reports. if you want to file a crash report, go here:

but anyway, looks like you were doing more than you report: you were also playing a song, and you also hit a key on the keyboard.

had the database completely loaded by then?

had it had the chance to save the DB by then?

does the crash happen every time?

can you create a small *SUBSET* of the songs you want to import that will cause the crash every time?

if so, zip it and put it in my FTP folder (click here)

a crash report is only half the story. to make it useful i also need the console.log that goes along with this report. Please send that to me.

Sorry for the previous post. I've uploaded the kjams lite.log file to your FTP mount point. It shows the import I am attempting, and how when the adding is complete and kjams begins to save the song list, it encounters errors:

what i meant was, upload a subset of SONGS you are importing that always causes the problem.

if you're just sending me a log file or crash report text, you can use regular email (not forum email or ftp)

does the crash happen every time?
