Unexpected quit

I opened kJams, then clicked on the first track on the library.
I then depressed the shift key, whilst holding this down I hit the page down key so as to highlight several tracks
Kjams Quit.
When kJams Quit the bug reporter appeared but the option to send a report was not highlighted.
I did this several times with the same result

The reason I was highlighting several tracks was to reinterpret the names of the tracks
The version of kJams I’m using is 1.0d47r34

please MANUALLY send me the log file and crash report.

Well I hope I've done that correctly. I have found that if I hit the page down key on any data list in kjams it crashes, it doesnt matter weather I hold down the shift key or not

I've also found that when I hit the space bar kjams will close

Thanks Dave,
I still have a problem becouse when I hit the page down key, when I have a line highlighted, I get the message

Assert Fail: uchrH, in file:'/Users/davec/
Developer/depot/kJams/Development/ source/
Sources/Main.cpp' at line 661

When I get this message I hit OK and two lines are then highlighted. This is repeated until I have all the lines highlighted that I need.
Mind you it is much better that having the program close on me

I dont know what a system profiler report is. I've looked at system profiler in spotlight, and I could'nt figure out how to send a report.
Nothing came up when I put system profiler report into spotlight.

apple->about this mac->more info...->file->save as...->

give it some name, save to desktop

make a new email
drag that report into email
send

Thanks Dave, the program is much better now but it still has some idiosyncrasies.

One that is odd is, when I pause a track in kjams to wait for a singer, the karaoke screen goes off, and then, when I hit play the karaoke screen used to reappear but now it doesn’t.

The reason it might go off the screen is that I also use stickies for announcements on the screen when I have no karaoke playing or when kjams is paused, and I set the two (kjams & stickies) to interact this way.

I have found that when I hit control and F4 (I think its F4, I’m not at my laptop right now) the karaoke screen is then on top regardless as to weather kjams is paused or not. It’s not a major problem because I know how to deal with and it can be helpful because I can play the karaoke track, and, if it’s a long intro, I can leave my message on the screen and then hit F4 before the intro is finished and I’ve got a captive audience to read my message or advert. No doubt you’ll get rid of this bug because I’m certain it would drive some folk mad but when you do I’ll miss it.

kay i'll try to fix that. you mention problemS (plural). what are the others?

Update: It works for me. what are all your prefs: auto full screen, pause between tracks, auto cue, always on top, hide on pause? I can't fix it if i don't see it. are you sure you're on the very latest version?
