slow sorting of search RESULTS

Feel free to post bug reports here. I need exact, detailed steps showing me how I can re-create the bug on my machine, so give as much info and detail as possible.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but I'll put it here for now...

I enter "artist: zepp" in the search box and press Enter, after 5-6 seconds (I have 100k+ files) I get a result set of 23 Led Zepplin songs. When I click the column header for "Song Name" it takes another 5-6 seconds. Is KJP re-executing the search completely? Shouldn't it just sort the (already determined) result set instantaneously?

Hope this question hasn't been asked already. I've read many of the thread and wiki pages on slow searching, so I understand the overall issues.

Is kJams re-executing the search completely?
yes
Shouldn't it just sort the (already determined) result set instantaneously?
yes, that's what it *should* do, but i have to fix all the crashing / loss of data bugs before i fix stuff that already has a workaround.
