Constantly saving meta data

For the past several releases, kJams is "saving the metadata" for 375 of the songs I recently imported.

Every time I start kJams it saves the metadata for each of those songs, and then it seems to finish, yet if I quit and restart kJams it does it again.

Is there a way to get it to realize it shouldn't be doing that anymore?

hold down the shift key on startup
