kJams crashing with error 'launch path not accessible'

Dave,

I'm having a serious launch problem.

Whenever I start kJams (v41 and v43 both have the same problem) it crashes at the point of drawing the menus, with this error:

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'launch path not accessible'

I've emailed you the bug report... but right now I am stuck because no matter which version I use it crashes before fully launching.

I've repaired the permissions on my hard drive in case it was a permissions issue.

I figured out what the problem was.

I recently installed a new webcam driver, called EpocCam, which uses my iPhone as a remote webcam, and after uninstalling the driver kJams started up fine.

You might want to look into this, and see if there is anything you can do to prevent kJams from crashing when a different webcam is installed (or it could have been a bug in EpocCam).

It's too bad, because I was looking forward to using my iPhone as a camera...

are you on a PPC computer? what's your setup?

i also have the same computer. well, sorry but i can't reproduce the bug. works perfectly for me. if you can isolate the problem any further that would help.

yeah, it's pretty awesome. in kjams you can show the video behind the song lyrics

dunno what to say, try a different computer? if it works on the other computer, then we can say with confidence that something ELSE is strange about your computer
