kJams either freezes or crashes

After downloading the most recent update to Kjams Pro, whenever I press play, the program freezes up. After going to the help pages, I downgraded to the January version of Kjams and the same thing happened. This took place at my gig last night in front of a packed house. I wasn't able to work. I have another gig tonight. Same venue. Any suggestions?

we talked on ichat today, and found that it could be worked around by turning off "skip silence at start of song" in the general prefs.

however, i was not able to reproduce the problem, so i could not fix it.

please contact me again so i can look more closely at your machine.

My computer is not acting properly when I open kJams. It freezes. I only purchased it two weeks ago.
