New Version Constant Asset Fail

Feel free to post bug reports here. I need exact, detailed steps showing me how I can re-create the bug on my machine, so give as much info and detail as possible.

New Version Constant Asset Fail

Post by Steve Lynch »

Hey Dave.

All was well until I just updated to today's new update version. (R.22)

after loading songs to a singer in target mode, If you do not turn off the target before returning to the rotation screen, it crashes with the following error.

Assert fail: pliP, in file '/users/davec/developer/depot/kjams/development/source/windows/CBrowser window.cpp' at line 2791

Like I said, the cause seems to be trying to switch from a targeted singer's song view to the general rotation without turning off target mode..

Hope this helps!

Steve

Oh! Last variable, is that a song must be playing while you do this..

I Rolled Back to (r.21) and it doesn't happen anymore..

so It's definitely a symptom of the new build.

what are you talking about?

Post by dave »

i have no idea what you're talking about???

nobody has reported a bug. what symptom are you having? i can't fix anything unless you tell me what's wrong?!!?!

the original post was from almost two months ago, that bug was either fixed or the line of code has moved so far away it's not possible to track it any more.

pretty please email me a log file so i can see what's going on?

note: reverting to previous at your own risk, please see the list of bugs that were fixed since then so you know what to avoid. eg: Rotation was completely broken
