Whenever I insert a disk whilst a song is playing kJams can freeze, not every time but most of the time. If I wait till the current song has finished and then make sure no track is playing I don't normally have the problem.
I'm using a Mini Mac with 4 Gb of RAM and an external drive to read the CDG's.
I also use an iMac and I have the same problem with that.
I've got a new Mini Mac with 8 Gb of RAM but I've not tried it with that. If you think it might be a RAM problem I'll try it out during the week
