Help. Macbook Lion Video in Quicktime

Hello, im a new user. i just download the App. kJams Lite.

I opened it and it ask for quicktime 7. and i accept and download it. but the video screen doesn't have video it is black. and when i play any song (i only have .kar) it opens the quicktime 7 and the screen reminds black.

is it because its running in lion? or should i need to install anything else??

kJams no longer plays KAR or MIDI files directly, but it can organize them for you, and launch an external player.

I recommend QMIDI. get that, then in the finder select a kar file and get info, then say "open with" and pick QMIDI. then click "do this for all files of this type".
repeat for .mid files.
