Hi Dave
I am having trouble using passwords with ijams.
When I first connect to ijams it asks for the password for each singer but then leaves each singer open not prompting for a password again.
When I was testing this on a mates Ipad it seamed to work ok.
Eg: ask for password each time a singer is selected from venue screen
Also if it does ask for a password it will ask for the password of the singer already accessed.
Eg: Select singer B but it will ask for SInger A password but will accept singer B password.
I have tried rebooting ijams but it does the same thing, even tried updating Kjams and still the same.
Any ideas ?????
Ijams - Password
Re: Ijams - Password
hmm, yeah that's a bit skwewey.
it should always ask for a password, i think. sounds like a bug.

Re: Ijams - Password
there is nothing you can do. it is a bug that must be fixed.
Re: Ijams - Password
Ah ok
Any idea on the turn around ?
I'm setting up request stations for my show with ipads which I hope to implement in the next month.
Cheers

Re: Ijams - Password
hmm, no i can't really predict that.
i didn't write the code and i've only just transferred "ownership" from the original author to myself, in fact that process is not even yet complete.
so i still have stuff to figure out about how to get a new version published on iTunes. and then the approval process is always hit or miss as you probably know.
sorry it's not better than that, but i AM working on it, i know this is a bug. (the cookies don't go stale when you log out)
it's no good if one user can futz with another user's settings!!
